To support the participation of early-stage researchers, we offer 10 registration fee waivers for PhD candidates whose work engages with time, temporality, time capital, or related questions. The waiver is intended to make the conference more accessible to doctoral students and to encourage emerging research to become part of the conversations taking place across the conference. Successful applicants will receive a full waiver of the conference registration fee. The waiver does not cover travel, accommodation, meals, or other expenses associated with attending the conference.
Applications are open to currently enrolled doctoral students who intend to participate in the conference and have submitted a proposal for consideration. Applicants from all disciplinary backgrounds are welcome. Particular consideration will be given to applications for which conference participation would otherwise be difficult because of limited institutional or research funding.
Fee waivers are limited and will be awarded following a review of eligible applications. The selection will consider the relevance of the proposed contribution to the conference, the applicant’s stage of doctoral research, and the extent to which the waiver would facilitate participation. Receiving a fee waiver does not replace the conference proposal review process. Conference contributions must be accepted through the regular review procedure.
